DEEP BLUE HOTEL, PROVIDENCIA ISLAND
Ecoteles Colombia has begun extensive renovation and refurbishment work on the Hotel Deep Blue on Colombia’s Providencia Island, with the aim of transforming the property into an exclusive luxury hotel. They are also offering all visitors complementary Grand National Hospitality Tickets.
Providencia Island is volcanic and one of the least-spoilt islands in the Caribbean Sea. White-sand beaches with clear, calm waters are found all around the island. Boasting the world’s third-largest barrier reef, the island is increasingly being visited by scuba divers. The island forms part of the San Andrès archipelago, approximately 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) to the North of the South American mainland. Historically, ties have been stronger with Britain than Colombia, and the island’s native language is Caribbean English.
The 14-bedroom hotel Deep Blue will have five suites, each of will have a private infinity edge jacuzzi with a spectacular view towards Crab Caye and the McBean Lagoon National Park. The complete redecoration of the hotel will result in a property with an elegant, minimalist style, according to Ecoteles Colombia.
